Content Partners/Contributors

Content Partners/Contributors – Our partners include archives, libraries, museums, and other cultural heritage organizations that wish to serve their digitized content and/or data through our hosted systems, which allows for free and open access to scholars, students, and interested citizens. Partners may also include K-12 and university educational programs as well as research initiatives. The FIU Libraries may assist partners with copyright investigation, scanning, metadata creation, and ingest tasks related to their collections. Development and design/branding work may incur fees. Depending on the volume of content, complexity of content types and formats an IT and/or processing maintenance fee may apply. A content partner may establish contractual work with the FIU Libraries and/or seek collaborative project funding.
