Mayra: Diaz Ayala Cuban & Latin-American Music Collection (Grant by Grammy org. for digitization of radio program).
FCLA copyright issues, preservation & reformatting of material, not to web yet because of copyright.

4 copies of originals cassettes: archival WAV, streaming, Mp3, cassettes.

Transcribing issues: free software program for transcribing, legal concerns, time factor

Veronica: trained for EAD, printed handout

Largest(?) collection spans decades includes Cuba & other countries

Collection is growing and possibilities for projects are continually emerging/developing

Collection materials are organized in a database, except for CDs which are cataloged

Migration from DXLS to DigiTool

DigiTool offers flexibility for content, no longer constrained by three separate categories: Archival, Visual, and Textual. Timetable: rest of year to migrate existing collections/projects.
